Hi friend! Soooo, I see you’re taking a peek at my adorable studio in Albion Maine – yay! **Before you read further, please note it is attached to my garage- there is a private entrance with a door code that you will receive after book, there is also a private bathroom to ensure you won't be bothered! I have 3 dogs and many of my clients have shedding pets as well. There will always be trace amounts of pet hair even though I clean thoroughly before and after each rental. The brightest time of day is 9:30am-4:30pm ish.** Okayyyy, continue!
It is literally THE cutest space, ( at least I think so) it’s 450 square feet with 2 HUUUGEE windows, has emerald green & flat black walls, with a couple of accent walls with different colors & textures ( but I ensure it all looks AMAZING together from any angle), a blow up bed set up that you can use or move out of the way, an in-studio changing room/bathroom, gorgeous velvet couches, chairs, and antiques, multiple backdrop stands, basic lighting kit, ring light + stand, cow hide rugs, hair and makeup station, TONS of open floor space because when you have beautiful dark floors, you better show them off, AND my entire client closet lingerie + sweater collection are all included with your rental! Lawd, that was a lot! Alsoooo, all of the larger pieces (chairs + couch) are on felt sliders and can be moved easily.
Literally the easiest, tons of spaces right in front of my house and all around!
You’re welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes before your rental period begins, you rental ends promptly at the time you select (ex. 9am-5pm, you can arrive at 8:45am at the earliest but MUST be out by 5pm). I require a video of you locking my door upon your exit to 1. ensure my studio is locked up properly and 2. know what time you exit. You will be charged for any additional time, factor clean up into your rental period when booking.
YES! I wouldn't offer my space to the public if it wasn't. I live on a private road in rural Maine and have like 2 neighbors haha. I don't think it gets much safer.
Speaking of neighbors, yes I have a couple. HOWEVER, we all sit on HUGE lots and our houses are no where near each other. You have ALL the privacy, don't worry.
So, my studio IS attached to my home, so if you're comfortable with it, I could be right upstairs. However, I have separate entrances, my own bathroom, etc so I ensure you I will NEVER disturb you unless there's a fire or something wild. BUT if you and your client prefer COMPLETE privacy and no one home (other than my dogs) I have no problem going and finding something to do during your rental time! Clients tend to like me near by just incase they have questions or issues!
You have full use of the entire space & property(indoors + outdoors, I own about 150 acres of amazing fields and woods, so think outdoor boudoir!), I have a 14″ ring light + 4+ light stands and basic lighting set up, a floral tapestry and black sequin backdrop with 2 backdrop stands and clamps. There is a shit ton of super cute stuff (detailed at the top of this page), and tons of functional floor space AND 2 amazing windows! I have a loveseat, multiple chairs and stools, a mattress, gray and white sheet sets, a fuck ton of throw blankets and pillows, and 400+ piece client closet that are all included! I cannot guarantee that all pieces in the client closet will be available as they are single use then sanitized.
Nope! This studio was pre planned when we built our custom home, so I thought EVERYTHING through. There is a private entrance on the side of the house with a locked door with a key pad. After paying your rental fee I will give you my address and 4 digit lock code. Lock codes are changed after each session. I will leave instructions on how to get in and lock up after, but you'll have my number incase you run into any issues.
Photographers, videographers, and other creatives! I am extremely cautious with who is able to utilize my studio space because 1. you’re directly representing ME when you’re using the space (since it’s leased to me + under my insurance) and 2. It's literally my home so I don't need anyone disrespecting my space or property
*You must be a licensed business with valid business insurance, approval can take up to 3 business days, if you aren’t then I just need to be on site (not in the studio with you).
NO glitter or gold/silver leaf. no candles (with a real flame). no jumping or flopping on the furniture, no sitting on tables. no pets unless you ask first (usually I’m cool with it)! Don’t be an asshole and leave my studio or client closet a mess, if you do, you will not be able to rent it again. No exceptions.
I added the ability to rent for 12 hour periods in addition to hourly and 8 hour full days. Please note that the sun doesn’t begin coming through the windows until about 6am depending on time of year this varies – you’ll have a good amount of light through the early evening because sunset comes through the front window. Annnnd, you of course are welcome to use my studio lights or bring some cool lights of your own and play around with different color gels and other fun shit!
Want to see the space for yourself before committing? No problem! We can set up either a zoom or in person tour before booking!
